Yu Tsai & Flaunt Magazine

I love these photos from Flaunt Magazine. Flaunt is one of my favorite magazines, it's hipster cool, fresh, and has great artistic elements. Photos for "The Loveless" by Yu Tsai. The theme here  - transient afternoon loners... These are some incredibly glamorous loners to say the least. Sort of reminds me of scenes out of 'Rebel without a Cause'.

Jonathan Adler

Whenever I go to NYC, I always find a way to visit the Jonathan Adler store in Soho. It is fantastic. With moving on my mind, I am rediscovering my penchant for cool and quirky collectibles such as these...

Vera Neumann and Anthropologie

I am loving these floral prints from the recent Vera Neumann and Anthropologie collaboration. Vera Neumann was a scarf designer turned textile designer who changed the face of prints in the 60s. Rarely can you think "scarf" without hearing the name "Vera".

These are great representations of her work and what great mediums!!

Miroslav Sasek

Miroslav Sasek's books make me happy. I own quite a few of his "This is... " collection of books, and they are just great to look at. You can go back to your childhood as you browse the pages or admire the artwork as a "grown up".

Miroslav won numerous awards in the late 50s and 60s for his illustrations, but more information about the artist has been difficult to uncover.

Take a look at some of his illustrations from various "This is... " books.

"This is Edinburgh"

"This is Paris"

"This is London"

"This is Ireland"

Jean Paul Gaultier Couture

Sigh. Swoon.

Take a look at these beautiful images from Nomenus Quarterly. Jean Paul Gaultier Couture is art as fashion.

Nomenus Quarterly was created as a collaborative publication and platform, and works with artists of various mediums and disciplines in the field of fashion and fine-art. You can purchase these publications, but hurry, only 50 folios are printed each edition. NQ has been kind enough to post these beautiful images online for everyone to see.

Rachel Comey

Ever since I bought my first pair of Rachel Comey shoes... I cannot keep my eyes off of her new collections.

They are beautifully light with just the right pops of color to keep you from being too neutral.

Beautiful.
